Request a QuoteWho We Are
Golden Wave Seafood is a partnership between a U.S. corporation and a Colombian seafood company, focused on sourcing and exporting high-quality seafood. We specialize in premium yellowfin tuna, wild-caught through artisanal fishing practices across Colombia's coastline — with additional species available on request.
The same team operates both sides of the business — sourcing in Colombia and import operations in the U.S. — ensuring direct oversight and consistency at every step, from the water to the final delivery.
Beyond our core tuna program, our sourcing network extends to additional seafood species and origins — allowing us to meet a wider range of client requirements as a single, reliable point of contact.
Direct From the Source
Golden Wave Seafood is led directly by its founder — from sourcing and field verification in Colombia to client relationships and logistics in the U.S. Every shipment is personally overseen from catch to delivery.
A U.S.–Colombian dual citizen, based between both countries to personally manage sourcing, compliance, and delivery on every shipment.

Origin & Cold Chain
Our tuna is artisanal wild-caught and carefully handled from the moment of harvest. Cold chain begins at the exact moment of capture, with full traceability from that point forward.
Every catch is logged at the point of landing — fisherman, vessel, registration number with AUNAP (Colombia's national fisheries authority), catch time, and time to ice — as it moves through a controlled cold chain designed to preserve freshness and product integrity through to final destination.
Quality & Compliance
We work with certified partners — fisherman communities and fishing associations registered with AUNAP (Colombia's National Aquaculture and Fisheries Authority), and processing facilities holding INVIMA sanitary registration — under U.S. FDA Seafood HACCP standards and full chain-of-custody documentation.
Every shipment is fully compliant with NOAA's Seafood Import Monitoring Program (SIMP), with catch and traceability data reported and documented as required for entry into the U.S. market.
Many of our partner facilities operate in-house laboratories for histamine and heavy-metals testing; where in-house testing isn't available, we work with qualified external labs to ensure every shipment meets the required standards.
This direct oversight, from sourcing to final delivery, is what lets us stay closely involved in verifying that every partner meets these standards on every shipment.
Export
We typically deliver to any major U.S. airport within 48 hours from the moment of capture — extremely fresh, with full cold-chain integrity maintained throughout.
